Thanks a lot to those that gave support to our plight by sharing the story of how we were almost bullied out of using the name we have been using for 5 years. The support you gave on the issue was very much appreciated and somewhat overwhelming to us - a bunch of simple English country folk, suddenly finding ourselves up against a very scary US legal team.
Chris Carrabba’s new band, formerly known as Twin Falls, have made a smart move to change their name to Twin Forks. We respect their assessment of the situation, their decision to make the move and thank them for taking the time to read everyone’s comments, eventually.
Aside from a final dig at me on their Facebook page (by posting up links to now defunct acts previously called Twin Falls. Acts they were already fully aware were no longer performing under the name), they (personally as a band) handled the situation with dignity and the right attitude. We wish them all the luck in the world with their project.
I would love to extend that respect and tip of my hat to their management and legal representation but I simply can’t do that. I still believe we were in the right to fight our corner.
Thanks for taking the time to read our story

“Coming on a like a dirty Death Cab For Cutie, the brilliant new track from Luke Stidson’s Twin Falls shows just how a quiet corner of Somerset can be the inspiration for epic, original, consummate pop music”
